Happy New Year

A couple of glasses of fizz, a count down from Jools Holland, and plenty of fireworks to start the new year.

There's something about it being the new year that makes me want to clean and tidy, I can't wait till the twelfth night before the decorations are cleared away so they are all back in their box till December now. With no plans today and a lot of rain, I spent most of the day spring mid winter cleaning half of the cellar. A therapeutic way to start the year. A recycle bin nearly full and the waste bin too, but it might be another year before I can face doing the other half.
