Last Sunset

We had beautiful evening light after a very grey dull day. I had a walk along the river to the fabric shop to buy some more of the butterfly fabric I used to make dresses for my nieces as Christmas presents. I should have bought extra at the time as I knew C would want one when she saw it. She thought that I should spend my evening sewing but I have declined that one, maybe next year.

We've had a lovely evening at the neighbours catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. My little party animal had to be persuaded to leave at 9 when big brother was already home and in bed, I think that just made her more determined to stay a little longer. Both now tucked up, time for a quick blip and then I'm off to have a few drinks with some friends.
