Happy New Year

Late night last night but not alcohol fueled. Just me and hubby watching tv till 2am!!!

Late to rise today as a result, then realised that shopping had to be done. Fortunately, the screaming hordes must have been nursing their hangovers, as the supermarket was quiet.

Seem to have spent the afternoon cooking and baking. Pulled pork slow cooking all afternoon, ready for evening meal tomorrow. Home made apple strudel with mixed berries thrown in for good measure. Absolutely delicious steak with home made cajun wedges and a mountain of watercress, spinach and salad leaves.

We earned that tea though. I suggested a walk around 4pm. It wasnt raining when we went out. We got to the science park, where I took this photo, and then the heavens opened. By the time we got back to the house, we were soaked to the skin, again.

Ah well, it's only rain.

Now, back to work - lots of jobs need doing ready for Monday, so I am going to do a bit of stuff now to get my head back into it. How soon the break passes :-(
