The Rise of the Machines

These three jokers have wasted a considerable amount of my Christmas holiday. Tekster the Puppy (left) does not do what he is told, won't sit, bark or chase the cat although occasionally he does do a surprise backflip and scare the living daylights out of us.
Furby (right), has an app (app... rhymes with crap) which supposedly allows the user to interact with it. We have tried the app on 4 different devices and it works on none of them.. Utter rubbish.
The Penguin in the middle just waddles about making squeaking noises, seems to manage that without massive issues or the need to download a bloody app.

Anyway a bit of a lazy blip, H's idea which is always appreciated.

After last nights excess we have not managed to do much today, the fact that is has been raining and blowing a gale all day did not help.

H, Alf and I watched Alien this afternoon, still a great film but the effect in that memorable bit are pretty laughable by today's standards. What we also noticed was that compared to modern films it is much slower, there is a lot more dialogue, somehow I think this makes it batter.

Telly (Sherlock is back, apparently he survived the fall, I suspect it will have all been a dream or he has come back as a ghost). and bed I think.
