Happy..

....New Year.

I spent most of today in bed. Everything ached - but to keep with tradition I rallied myself to celebrate Hogmanay and after a glass of bubbles I could feel no pain !

We spent the evening in the company of old (and one new) friends - although the big kids all had parties sleepovers to go to elsewhere. No 3 really missed them. She loves to hang around with teenagers.

We know most of these friends because our children attended a nursery run by this lady - every year we meet at A's house to see in the Bells.

This year there were extra celebrations. This gorgeous couple have recently become engaged and we are all delighted.

Can't wait to see events will unfold in 2014 for this happy couple!
