New Year's resolutions
I don't really go in for resolutions as I have a tendency to break them.
However, I have a half marathon in 2 months time and having spent the whole of December binge eating and drinking so I'm not in the best shape currently. That coupled with my knee problems means I am starting more or less from scratch with my running (again!).
So, with this in mind I aim to eat healthier and start running again to get myself prepared. I have started with the food, this is my butternut squash soup with one of the many squashes we still have from our crop off the allotment. I really wanted to do a short run today too, but the rain and the wind has put me off, seems a bit of a harsh reintroduction to it. Shall try again at the weekend. See, breaking my resolutions already!
