New Year Days swim

A rare view of our local open-air pool, empty. It was wet, windy and cold, but I've always promised myself a 1st Jan swim - and this year it happened.

The hot shower afterwards was bliss.

Bless the pool for opening, for all the jolly dippers who turned up, making this event worthwhile, and especially to the ladies who stood for hours in the damp and mist to provide us with hot refreshments.
