Metamorphosis & Entropy

It's a New Year: I'm hoping & working for metamorphosis : 'a marked change in appearance, character, condition or function' - certainly 3 of those would be welcome. 'A transformation as by magic or sorcery' would be nice but probably unlikely.

I'd like to be working in Turkey in a year to mark the final stage in the process.

But you never know with entropy nibbling away at the edges what further measures are needed.
There's many a slip between the cup and the lip.
