Sparkly end to the year

Cousins on the beach today.

A slow start after last night's mystery wine disappearance.

Despite bad weather warnings the sun shone and we had a lovely walk on the beach.

I haven't done much else at all today.


Sadly, we heard when we got home that a woman died today after getting in trouble in the sea at Croyde.

Anything I say after that will feel wrong/lame/ inappropriate...

But I'm thinking of everyone who's had a tough 2013 and hoping things are better in 2014 for you. In fact I would love to think everyone could have a good year, and a happy one. A bit more happiness... Wouldn't that be nice.

I haven't made any New Year's resolutions but I have recently been telling myself to grab life by the bollocks and be glad for every day I'm alive.
