Heavy Reading

The post-christmas bookathon begins and this year every book is enormous! Nevertheless, I still prefer this to the (different) pleasure of Kindle-ing. I'm impressed by The Goldfinch so far and have heard good things about the Luminaries. Many years ago I had a 1960s copy of the Sorensen biography which had me hooked; can't wait to read it again!
