Unspectacular sunrise, around 6.20 am

but handheld and so sharp that you can see the trees on the mountain tops about 10 miles away.. Hard to believe. Also the grey that you see on top of the Atlantis Casino is not a smudge but the little cloud that comes out of the chimneys. The Atlantis is about 2 miles away as the crow flies, and the yellow bubble is the sky light in the roof of our neighbors across the street. For the details see in Large.

I apologize, this is my emergency blip. It is a day that has me sitting the whole day at the desk trying to answer a lot of questions in an application form for naturalization. ( How many trips did I take over the last five years outside of the US?, When did they start, when did they end? Uh oh...) And other paperwork still to do before we start into a new year, so no end in sight.
