Out of the Wind

Walking around the foreshore this bay was fairly protected from the wind that still persists in blowing relentlessly. Lighter winds are forecast tomorrow getting ready for the New Year extravaganza here. Parks with good views to the Harbour have people staking out their claims with blankets and mats and friends/families take turns on "holding the fort" ready for the fireworks on New Year's Eve. We are lucky to be in a position that if we decide to view the fireworks it is only a 30 minute walk along a trail.
