I had the pleasure of standing on the sideline of a pitch today for two hours as my grandson made his debut on the North Dublin Schoolboy League representative side today.... He's here in the photo, back to camera, enjoying his moment in the limelight.. The cold was chilling me to the bones but I wouldn't swap it for a week in the sun.... We are all proud of the achievements of our children and bask in the warmth of their deeds... to crown my day I found a piece of coloured glass on the beach I have searched for the past three months and got an unexpected, very welcome phone call....
