"Fine" She said

Was on the beach well before dawn this morning looking for seaglass in the moonlight...not a problem really as sunrise was at 840am... Full tide was 730am so ideal to find what I wanted.....a peaceful hour wandering....in a stumbling in the dark sort of way...on the beach going over a text conversation I had last night.. Ring me back in 20 mins she said.... I said ok... Then I said "Am going out. Will ring tomorrow?" "Fine" she said.... "Fine" !!! Alarm bells..... What have I done? So I woke at 4am and went for a long, cold, stumbling walk and thought it through.... "Fine" is a good thing to hear..... It only comes from a woman who is angry....and likes me enough to say "fine"........ I can happily live with the punishment....Got some lovely glass too....will set it in silver and put it on a long chain.... just saying
