Church Of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Old Dilton, Wil

As it was such a nice day I took a walk over to the no disused church that Fossey and I pass on our walk.

On the way I met a friend with her doggie, so we stopped for a chat. After we parted, not 5 mins later I met Fossey!! She was having a walkies with her 'dad' Simon.. We had a chat too of course.

I did finally make it to the church and spent about an hour there.

The church hasn't been used for regular services since 1844, but is maintained by The Church Conservation Trust. The key hangs outside a nearby house and anyone is free to visit when ever they wish. It's a very tranquil place.
