Pollok House

At last the wind dropped and the rain stopped, so we went for a walk in Pollok Country Park to get some fresh air and exercise.

This is a shot of Pollok House taken from the bridge over the White Cart.

Pollok House is the ancestral home of the Maxwell family, who owned the estate for almost 700 years and was designed by William Adam and built in 1752. Unfortunately I know of no connection between me and the Maxwell's who owned estates, castles and country houses.

Looks nice large.
