A tour of the Okazaki Hatcho Miso factory which has been providing red miso to Japan for over the last 500 years. Hatcho miso were providing miso to Tokugawa Ieyasu during his rule, and when he moved the capital to Tokyo, he had these guys send miso to the capital regularly. The tour was interesting for many people and seeing the giant barrels fermenting the miso paste was awesome. The rocks formed on to is to keep the lids down and from air seeping in. Apparently the rock pyramids are so solid they can withstand earthquakes. Pretty cool, so the legend goes.
