Magical light

It was a lazy day for the most part. I did not break anything today, which, after yesterday, was good. I did have a bizarre thing happened while I was putting my makeup on today.
I had the window shade open to let the sun in and it felt great. The window is behind me when I face the mirror. The mirror is double sided with one side being magnified and the other is not. I was using the magnified side doing my makeup and all of a sudden felt a hot feeling on my neck. I looked down and saw this magnified beam of sun hitting me right where it was burning. Little did I know I was using a fire starting technique on my own body! I quickly flipped the mirror over to the unmagnified side and the beam went away. It actually caused a red mark on my neck! I pulled down the window shade and flipped on the bathroom light. I think I will keep the shade closed from now on while using the magnified mirror.
Later in the day, we went over to Barnes and Noble to buy a book and then from there we met my sister and her husband for dinner at a local steakhouse. It was super crowded but we had a very nice meal and a good time. I enjoyed an Arrogant Bastard Ale with my meal, which was delicious. Tomorrow I will spend some time looking at the book I bought on Spain. It is a travel book and since I have never been to Spain, I have some investigating to do. If anyone has any recommendations on traveling to Spain, I would love to hear them.

My blip is of the glass cube votive that was sitting on our table during dinner. It caught my eye a few times during the meal. Maybe it was the food or perhaps it was the ale but the dancing light was mesmerizing.
