To blow the cobwebs away

A much calmer and brighter day today so we went down to Morecambe for a walk along the prom. The tide was out but the sky was blue and lots of people clearly had the same idea as us. We walked to the end of the Stone Jetty and back and the cobwebs were well and truly banished.

A quick stop on the way back to capture this mosaic-sculpture of Venus and Cupid which greets people on their way into Morecambe. She hasn't had her paper wings for Christmas as in previous years and you can't see her tinsel in this shot but the pair are still one of my favourite Morecambe landmarks, particularly with a blue sky backdrop.
