Car bling

This is one of Liberace's prize possessions and it is on display at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

Despite the weather being exceptionally warm with cloudless blue skies we were able to take the boys to an open air ice rink on the third floor of the very glitzy and fashionable Cosmopolitan hotel where a swimming pool had been covered over for the 'winter' and turned into a false floor beside an ice rink. From here we had a fine view of the Eiffel Tower and the neighbouring Bellagio hotel with its dancing fountains. Later that evening my daughter, son-in-law and I went to a mesmerising show of Beatles music in yet another hotel with the multi talented cast of the Cirque de Soleil. A great day was finished off with a Margarita!
