All is calm, all is bright

A very lazy day. Much needed and really didn't want to set foot outside the door into the horrendous weather anyway. This morning we were visited again by my sister and brother in law which was lovely as ever and helped to spin out the Christmas celebrations. The girls spent much of the afternoon on the iPad and the laptop or watching tv. We have ploughed our way through Christmas leftovers like there's no tomorrow. We ceremoniously smashed up yesterday's blip-starring chocolate 'gingerbread' house with a rolling pin and tucked into it after dinner. Three out of the five of us never bothered to get changed out of our PJs all day. I even managed a little nap on the sofa this afternoon whilst Arwen slept upstairs. All quite blissful really.
