"Hark!"

After a lovely sleepover with Chris and Emily, finished off with bacon sandwiches, I then met my good friend Fiona from uni who I hadn't seen in what might be a year or more! Our friend Kirsty had recently returned from her year away in Canada so we drove to Perth to meet her for some lunch and have a quick catch up. It was lovely to see them both again and great memories of our uni days came flooding back!

Tonight, Dundee University had their carols by candlelight service in the church beside KFC - St Paul's Cathedral. The perfect setting for a very intimate, reflective service. I first went to this service 2 years ago and now it has become my starting gun event for Christmas! A mixture of both traditional and modern readings, accompanied by everyone's favourite carols and a room full of candles! Perfect!

A quick dinner catch up with the lovely Lyndsay D and Phil was a nice surprise to my evening! What followed was several cups of tea with Phil as we shared some laughs, important information, fought back tears, reminisced over events and feelings of the past, and tried to make plans for my not to distant future to try and help me to smile once again....
