Angel of the south

My sister in law wanted a pretty angel for the top of this year's tree, so my brother's first port of call (as always) was eBay. Now he's usually got taste and, having been together for more than half their lives, he's got a pretty good handle on what she likes. Sometimes, though, you just wonder if something distracted him...

We've been into Reading today for Boxing Day sales - not something I usually go anywhere near, but it wasn't crazy and I picked up some new slipper boots in Accessorize and a lovely black handbag in Debenhams, so all in all not a bad day. And I only came close to punching someone a couple of times and I can easily get that irate just on an ordinary Saturday afternoon!

I'll be heading back north tomorrow morning and having a nice week at home. Though Christmas without my parents and June just isn't the same, it's been a lovely few days :-)
