A special day

Boxing Day is special to me as it is my eldest son (Sean)'s birthday.
Today he was 29 and he was working :-(

Jeff tried to get a few hours sleep when he got in from his night shift and I did a little bit of housework.
#2 (Simon) was up and of to work at about 10am.
#3 (Thomas) was up and off to the Gym.
#1 (Sean) got up to open his gifts and cards and then headed off himself.
When Jeff got up we went for a little walk.
His daughter, son -in-law, son-in-law's mother and two grandchildren called in after we got back to collect and drop off some presents.

This is Jeff with his grandchildren Lewis and Olivia.
Gradually the boys drifted home and we sat down to dinner together to celebrate Sean's birthday.

Later I realised I had not eaten any of my Christmas cake yet this year.
Funnily enough that was bothering my 29 years ago when I had to go to the hospital for Sean to be born.

Have just had some Christmas cake.... Yummy :-)))
