Boxing Day Exercise

We walked off some of the Christmas Day excess at Stockhill near Priddy this morning and the local Hunt (presumably the Mendip) were out in force; I'm not a fan of hunting at all (inevitably given the surname, I guess!) but I've enjoyed horse riding a few times and can't see why it's not just as much fun without chasing an animal or why old or injured animals can't be culled more humanely if they need to be controlled. Anyway, there were lots of people out enjoying the exercise, whether on foot or horseback.

We certainly had more fun than the 1300 or so Yeovil fans, our son Chris included, who made the trip to Bournemouth only to witness a dire performance and 3 - 0 defeat.
