Late Afternoon Glow

Chris, Kate & Joel have gone home to their own places, so the morning was spent re-organising the house, sorting out presents and replacing the loo seat which, with typical awkwardness (it's always had a mind of its own), chose Christmas to finally become permanently severed from its moorings!

This afternoon we took a stroll through the Ham Wall Nature Reserve just as the sun was going down and people were gathering for the starling murmuration; unfortunately we couldn't hang around as we're off out this evening for a post-Christmas gathering of neighbours at our next door neighbours' house.
