Farewell to Budapest

All good things must come to an end. We leave for the airport in 15 minutes with hopefully an on-time flight with no hold up in a busy airport.

Budapest is still recovering from the Christmas festivities, as are His Lordship and I, although heaven forbid, we did manage a little toast with butter and jam for breakfast.

It's been a lovely 3+ days in the company of David and Luca and although sad to be leaving it will be good to get back home again...... A dichotomy of sentiments.

We had a little meander around this morning early with few people about, but the trusty no 2 tram was plying its way up and down the Danube.
