reflectuve endings under the tree...

Christmas day, this is the oddest Christmas I have ever had in the woods...

Today's been an interesting day,I woke up in a wooden chalet with the smell of nature and silence and the birds singing...awesome!

Had a nice solitude walk just enjoying God's creation and getting in touch with the inner me...funny how it started drizzling and I finally got to dance in the rain alone

Lots of prayer has helped me to bear with my sister's condition,it was great to call and hear that today its not as worse as yesterday. Iv got to have my phone online standby and today iv spent a lot of time chatting with my sisters and brother-its been emotional and deep-felt horrible for not being there and I feel iv let them down this time-its hard to bear

It was great to get time to reflect on a lot of things,to think of a lot of things as well as enjoy the outdoors-it was nice to make new friends with a few other people who were there-nice to see that other couples take time off to have time with God

I didn't prepare as well as I thought,I didn't bring a lot of rain coats and warm stuff-so that meant iv had to retreat back to the chalet for some part of the day. However,its been a beautiful time,enjoyed worshipping with my worship playlist -its been brilliant

Its funny how being detached from society makes u realise how distant iv been from connecting with my inner me,the many things iv held and many hurts and testimonies I had forgotten...just felt looking at nature that my life seems to have gone through different seasons and I'm still here

Iv had a good time, also got to see who really cares about me. Also got to catch up with some of my devotionals-not the greatest way to spend Christmas alone but ideal!

I love it out here,wish I can stay a bit more-will see if I can extend it.....nature has a way of speaking to us in ways we cannot miss and my blip is my favourite spot under the tree..
