Baking & making

What a rainy, windy day.

Braved it into Newbury this am for a last pre-Xmas visit, it was pretty busy and there were people rushing around in a last minute present buying haze. We got a couple of things from M&S and headed home via the local bookshop.

This afternoon we had an impromptu baking session with C and Grandma. I wanted to test out our new bread maker - a mutual Xmas present between T&I :-) We made a lovely white loaf of olive bread, delish.

And 2 batches of mini mince pies, of course.

Yum. The glass of sherry I had whilst baking went down well too :-)
