Taking the legendary 26 bus into town this morning for my last shift before Christmas. At King's Road, the stop nearest Seafield Bus garage, the drivers sign on and off their shifts on the same machine we all use to access our locally owned bus network.

Today I was reminded of all those who work through the festivities on anti social shifts to keep the sinews of our society flexing flawlessly.
