Sun setting over the Natural History Museum

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is back in the Natural History Museum! I love this exhibit, it never fails to be awesome. The photography is always wonderful, and now I actually know what the technical details mean. Some of the shots were just brilliant. One photographer held his breath to capture a shot of a whale shark's silhouette above him with no underwater breathing equipment. A whale shark is eight metres long and doesn't go anywhere anytime fast. Phenomenal. It's so much better in London than the touring exhibition because they present the photographs on big screens, not as prints. Lovely weekend in London, now back in the homeland for Christmas.

Like this shot a lot, the museum is beautiful architecture, the sun setting over it is such a nice colour and you can just make out the Christmas lights wrapped around the trees.
