Singin' in the Rain (at Cardiff Bay)
Cardiff Bay is great - ten years ago it was just a horrible, grey mudhole, but post-renovation it's one of my favourite places in South Wales. The Red Dragon Centre, the National Assembly Building, so many restaurants overlooking the water, the shrine to Ianto Jones and Jack Harkness' relationship... (anyone who has been there will know exactly what I'm talking about. It's terrifying). After having run a half marathon around it twice now I can really confirm it's a beautiful area.
One of the best buildings is the Millennium Centre. This is just a small section of it lit up at night, Google it to see the whole thing, it really is a pretty cool building. Went to see Singin' in the Rain with Dad, Grandma and Auntie. Wasn't hugely impressed to be honest, apart from the rain scene itself. Fake smiles, jazz hands and awful American accents just don't do it for me - especially not when screeched like a macaw.
