A Walk in the Park
Pull on your thick socks and wellies, put on that cute woolly bonnet you got for your birthday, muffle up in your warm scarf and mittens, shrug into your cosy coat, then take a long winter walk in the park. That’s exactly what lots of us will be doing on Wednesday afternoon after our over generous Christmas lunches in an attempt to walk off a few calories. The scenery might not be very prepossessing and the weather a bit cold and miserable, as in today’s photograph, but that’s what’s to be expected at this time of year, and that won’t stop that fresh air invigorating you and making you feel on top of the world. Especially if you walk with friends, family and loved ones, and then come home to a warm fireside and hot chocolate or mulled wine and mince pies.
