Low sun behind the fountain

Today was the shortest day of the year. Although it is widely accepted that sunrise on the longest day of the year, midsummer day, is the most important event of the druidic year, hence the great gatherings and general celebrations at Stonehenge every year, recent research and collated information would suggest that the most significant event is actually sunset on the shortest day.
