THE SUN DID COME OUT!

First of all, thank you to all my lovely fellow blippers who were so kind to me yesterday - you will be pleased to know that the song, "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow" has come true and when I got up this morning and waited patiently, the sun peeped through and I feel much better today. I took lots of photographs, but rather liked this gull who was preening itself on top of the lamp post and it fits in well with Creativelenna's Sundayskies challenge.

Spent sometime this morning looking at photographs that Son No. 1 had put on Facebook - sometimes it's the only way we find out what he is up to, and it was good to see him looking happy with Remy, his girlfriend, in temperatures way above ours, in The Philippines.

Taking the Nativity to church this morning now that school is finished - the teacher told us that since I had taken it in, the children had played with it every day. We were quite amused when we went to collect it on Friday - the three Wise Men were all flat on their backs, the Shepherds were leaning against one another, Mary was at one end of the stable and Joseph was at the other end and Baby Jesus was at the back with the sheep and donkey looking at Him. Probably more life-like than the pristine scenes we see on Christmas cards!
