The market

The last Saturday before Christmas and it was a busy one. I was working at the cafe and this is the nearby market which was pretty busy!!

I got a few last minute bargains to finish off my presents before heading to work.
One customer, a legendary old gentleman, noted (in a lovely posh gentle voice) that 'my social skills have clearly been honed to perfection through studying my masters'. This was the highlight of my day and after serving him and his wife afternoon tea, I skipped along for the rest of the day.

Then home to wrap said presents and make the last few too.

I have been reflecting on the art of being patient. And some of the other characteristics of 1 Corinthians 13v 4-8. Any tips on how to practise patience?

An early night for me tonight.
