Winter Warmer

Christmas shopping today in Chelmsford town centre with my brother, my Dad and my ten year old niece. The whole excursion was great fun and a huge success, in spite of the vicious icy cold rain and blustery wind which made walking down the High Street a bit of a challenge. Fortified and warmed by lunch at Pizza Hut, although of course the hands-down winner of the winter warmer sight-and-sound of Christmas was the Sally Army playing carols, giving Joy to the World, especially to me, on this first day at home during Christmas Tide.
