Auchmithie Sunrise

After last nights storm (which woke me up which is very unusual as i have been known to sleep right through noisy thunderstorms which were directly above the house) we decided to head out early this morning for some sunrise shots in the hope that there would be some clouds still about.

Headed to Auchmithie, small former fishing village north of Arbroath which is actually where the Arbroath Smokie originates from. Had planned on a different view but when we got there we found that someone had parked their campervan right where I wanted to take shots so stayed clear and headed in the opposite direction further along the beach (if it's a rockin, don't go a knockin!).

Got tons of shots to sort through (over 380), but here's one i managed to process just before visitors arrived and I had to stop to make dinner (healthy home made fish n chips tonight c/o weight watchers recipe).
