Flood

Someone didn't pay attention to the flood & closed road signs the Polis put out.

Thanks to my friend R who called to say the River Isla had burst its banks at Coupar Angus. Drove up and took some shots at lunchtime, then headed to Aberbothrie thinking it would be ok and I could do a compare and contrast shot from the bridge. No such luck, the flood protection (built up banks around the river) had burst and the farmer had just finished closing them up with a JCB. This is on the other side (the river side).

Took some shots then headed further upstream to the next bridge (Crathie Bridge), another of my fishing spots, which was also completely flooding the surrounding fields and roads. Some people were trying to drive through the flood, but quickly realised it was too deep and reversed out in time.

If it stops raining tomorrow i'll head back up to see what else I can blip. Bound to be more muppets cars under water by then!
