Christmas Party

4years 60days

Nursery party today!! Mummy has been busily sewing Katie's Christmas dress for her in time to wear it today. I made it very very twirly - with about 3m wide of fabric - and a very big bow. But Miss Katie wanted a frill too. So we added that late last night. She got dressed this morning and tried it to see if it passed the twirl test. It definitely did!

While Katie was at nursery, Ive been sorting the Christmas things. Our rabbits have gone on their festive holiday ready for us to go away. The bags are packed, the parcels all collected, although nothing is wrapped yet!

She had a really good day at the nursery party. A magician came and she got a balloon dog. She said they played some games and she liked her party tea (but not the thing that was a bit like a chicken nugget or fish finger but not!?). She got a bit sad when I picked her up because the staff explained to her and I that one of her best friends is leaving nursery for good. She wouldnt say goodbye at first, but after a chat she gave her a big hug.

We had fun making some gifts at home together. I have discovered "Peppermint Bark" and slightly adapted it to make cute little Christmas pudding chocolates using a half cakepop mould! We have since been starting on the sock bunnies for our cousins. Love Christmas crafting!!
