Birthday in B.A.

And what a great place to be on one's birthday! In spite of all poor Argentina's political and economic woes, this is still a city with a lot of character.

There's a heat wave in BA and a lady who was sluicing down the pavement was happy to let these dogs quench their thirst. Stopped for a shot, but the dog walker insisted on taking one of me with the dogs, instead of vice versa. He then led us to a very popular restaurant - very noisy too, with large Christmas parties going on.

Now off out again to see if we can fit in some dinner - time to try some Argentine wine (beer at lunch in view of the heat). Cheers, everyone!
