The old and the new

Our Christmas tree is decorated with toys of many eras. The overall effect is colourful with 3 sets of (working) lights this year. I like to go up close and look at individual toys. The clown is a relative newcomer, but the painted glass bauble has been with us for many, many years.

We're a bit poorly here. Mum had a sleepless night with chest pain and now seems headed for pleurisy. I've started on another course of antibiotics to try to fettle the Giardia.

Had a welcome visit from Margret and Guy before they set off south to the family on Monday.
