A pheasant...

... casually walking down my drive!
Well.. Today carried on in the same car-jinxed way. I drove to the tyre shop again to get my daughter's tyre fixed. (I checked in on Foursquare and became mayor - that's how often I've been to that flippin place!!)
The other 3 tyres were only just legal and one showing wear on one side so I bought four new ones!! If it had been summer, I could have made them last a while longer but didn't want to risk it in winter. At least they were only £100 each on a QashQai!
Later on, I popped out to the shop to get a couple of things I'd forgotten and one of my headlights blew! What's going on??!! Luckily I was just around the corner from Halfords so went straight there to get it fixed!
Last week I was over the moon because I'd won a ski holiday to Cortina, Italy (did I mention that?) and this week I'm having so much bad luck it isn't funny!

I hope all our car and travel woes are over now - we have car/plane/coach travel tomorrow!! :-/
