Cold and Frosty Morning

It was cold and Jack Frost had obviously been around when we got up this morning. We had to go to collect our new clock from the Jewellery Quarter and decided to investigate Warstones Cemetery which is in the centre of the area and is one of the very old cemeteries in Birmingham. We went to look at the Catacombs which were fascinating but my attention was caught by this angular tree and the very raucous birds in it. I'm not sure if they were crows or rooks - my teacher from when I was 11 (47 years ago) would be ashamed of me as she trained us to spot crows and rooks - but they were certainly making a lot of noise. I wonder what they thought we were going to do!
