Orchids

If you look hard enough, you'll see a bird...

No... I'm just kidding. Don't pass out, but I didn't blip a bird today! This does, however, look lovely large.

I dedicated today to getting more holiday shopping out of the way (almost done... almost). Anyway, that didn't leave much time for blipping. Later in the afternoon, while shopping in a grocery/super store (Meijer) I realized that I didn't have a shot yet. I spotted the most beautiful orchids on display and thought, "why not?" Out came the iPhone and even though these beauties were wrapped in a cone of cellophane, it didn't stop me. I mean, the top of the cellophane cone was open (ish) presumably to let the orchid breathephotographers stick their cameras in... So I went for it. ;) I wasn't sure what I'd end up with, but all and all I'm pretty happy with the results.

I'm sure regular bird blips will resume soon... ;)
