Room with a View
We drove up into the mountains today to go wine tasting at tiny vineyards hidden away in inaccessible valleys. Almost impossible to find, but well worth the trouble when we got there. Spent far too much money, then found a charming little tapas bar in the spectacular town of Ronda - a haunt of Hemingway and others, and inspiration for the scene in "For Whom the Bell Tolls" where men are thrown into the gorge (as happened during the Spanish Civil War). We then adjourned to our hotel on the lip of that gorge as a storm moved in - gale force winds and driving rain. I opened the door on to our balcony just long enough to snatch this blip of the view. The forecast is better for tomorrow, when I hope to capture some more pics.
