BERRY

A day at home today trying to catch up with bits and pieces. I started writing a letter but never finished it. I have put the Christmas tree up but have yet to decorate it. I forgot to put the washing on. I didn't do the ironing. I seem to have been busy all day but am beginning to wonder just what I did do.

Well I did hoover and cook a lovely " Christmas " meal for me and Neil. I also gave him his Christmas presents. Washing up is still to be done though.

Neil's friend Chris came round to do some last minute planning/sorting out for their trip to Australia next week.

We had a bit of a panic this morning with Tino. Neil had gone into the utility room for something, come back into the kitchen but left the door open. Tino must have spotted the open door and gone into the utility room. Then he made his escape through the cat flap. A soon as I noticed the door was open I realised what had happened. No sign of Tino in the back garden so Neil and I went into the lane calling his name. Then we heard his cry - its very distinctive. We couldn't see him though as he was in the allotments which were out of bounds for us. I kept on calling and suddenly he appeared under a hedge. Neil quickly grabbed him and we got him indoors. Hope he enjoyed his little adventure - I will try and ensure there isn't a repeat performance.

Today's Forum Challenge is berry. As I have no holly berries this year I didn't think I would be able to blip a berry from my garden but when I looked around this morning I found this blackberry.
