JELLY BELLY BEANS

Went to Newcastle this afternoon to meet up with Neil and his girlfriend Rachael.  We went to Wetherspoons for a meal.  I had Skinny Chicken Burger with salad.

I told Neil I was going to Fenwicks to get some Jelly Belly Beans for him for Christmas.  I know he is very choosy about which flavours he has so I asked him which ones he wanted.  He said he would come with me and choose the flavours himself.  He also has to have a certain number of each flavour - and only he knows what this is.  Seems to be very serious business choosing your Jelly Beans.  He was slightly amused that I wanted to take his photo.

Neil and Rachael went back to Rachael's flat as they were going to cook a " Fake Christmas " dinner to enjoy together before Rachael goes home to Ireland for Christmas.  I mooched around town for a while and did some shopping.  Rachael works in a shop which has recently opened so I thought I would take a look.  Its a bit like Paperchase - sells greetings cards, wrapping paper etc. I saw a lovely shopping bag which I just had to buy.  A Christmas present to me from me.  Got home around 7pm.

The weather today was much milder than it has been recently but it was very windy.
