Kitchen Assistant

I was testing a new recipe for the blog today and as Stella can hear a fridge door open from miles away she was soon supervising!

Unfortunately for her the ingredients weren't dog friendly or of course I'd have let her lick the bowl. It turned out ok, and if I can sort words and photos you'll see the creation tomorrow :)

The day was sort of relaxing until the plumber just rang and he's found the extra part that my boiler needs and is coming tomorrow afternoon. As you can imagine the kitchen is still in a state of less-than-tidyness as is the room he needs the radiator in as we didn't think he'd be able to come back till the new year! Panic!!

I'll do as much as I can without jeopardising work in the morning; I've already said I'll go in Saturday or Sunday as I have Monday booked off for the charity shop Christmas lunch.

As luck would have it, the heating and hot water have stayed on since his last visit, but, as *my* luck would have it, I don't want to put him off and end up with neither for Christmas and Boxing Day like last year!
