Stair garland

This has been added to and reused for about 15 years. I was ages yesterday trying to unfankle the lights and join up the greenery. The tree is up with three sets of lights and it all looks quite festive. FOLOH thinks we should maybe buy a new garland for the stairs next year but I shall probably be unfankling this one again.
I really like the word 'fankle' rather than ' tangle' but my English father never liked my Scottish mum using it. He said it wasn't a real word but I bet it is in the modern dictionary.
